Holiday Candy Cane Pours - every Saturday
Join the Martinsville Candy Kitchen for holiday season candy cane pours. Watch them transform sugar and flavoring into holiday magic in this traditional process. Candy canes are hand-pulled and packaged up for purchase. (There are usually free samples for those who come to watch!) Candy canes will be made every Saturday, and keep an eye on their Facebook page for additional pour times. Santa will be there on Dec. 21!
Festival of Lights - Nightly through New Year's Day
The holiday lights at Jimmy Nash City Park come on on Saturday, Nov. 30 and remain lit each night through New Year's Day! Swing by while you're in town for a drive through the park to see the light displays, or park and walk around to enjoy the ambiance. There are photo ops as well - be sure to get a photo in Santa's sleigh!

Christmas Tag, You're It! Workshop - Dec. 6
Join The Wood Canvas at Fables and Fairy Tales in downtown Martinsville for this fun workshop. You'll create a fun Christmas tag themed piece to use as holiday decor, with your choice of wording. All materials are provided; preregistration is required.
Downtown Mooresville Tree Lighting - Dec. 6
Join the town of Mooresville as they light up the Christmas Tree in Bicentennial Park in preparation for the annual Victorian Christmas Celebration! The tree lighting will take place on Friday, Dec. 6 with live entertainment, a visit from Santa and more. The lights go on at 7 pm.
Indiana Rail Road Santa Train - Dec. 6
The Morgantown Fire Department once again welcomes the Indiana Rail Road Santa Train as they bring holiday cheer to communities in Central Indiana along the railway. Participants will climb aboard and visit with Santa and his many friends on his very own express train! The train will arrive in Morgantown at approximately 6:30 pm. We suggest arriving a bit early to get in line. The line closes at 7:30 pm. Refreshments available on site.
Holiday Extravaganza - Dec. 6
The Indiana Family Chiropractic Center in Martinsville will host a Holiday Extravaganza on Friday, Dec. 6 from 3 to 6 pm. Santa will be there along with his elves and some surprise musical guests! Enjoy free hot chocolate and sweet treats, plus fun pop us shops for the adults to browse.

James and the Giant Peach - Dec. 6-15
The Merry MAC Players presents a youth production of James and the Giant Peach at the historic Depot Theatre in Martinsville. This whimsical show will introduce you to James, his evil aunts, and a few giant talking insects. Follow along as they sail an enormous peach all the way across the sea to New York City on this hilarious adventure. Tickets are available online, but get yours soon, before they're gone!
Town of Mooresville Christmas Light Tour - Dec. 6-23
Don't miss the first ever Christmas Light Tour in Mooresville! Between Dec. 6 and 23, come enjoy the lights on display at participating area homes and businesses, then vote for your favorites! Voting is by donation and all proceeds benefit the Mooresville Boys and Girls Club and Churches in Mission.
Victorian Christmas Celebration - Dec. 7
Join Mooresville for their annual holiday tradition, the Victorian Christmas Celebration! This fun event takes place on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 am to 4 pm. Journey to each of the 11 stops throughout town (free transportation available) and you'll encounter artisan and vendor booths, fun characters, live animals, live entertainment, carriage rides, historic reenactments and so much more!
Morgan County Winter Farmers Market - Dec. 7
The Morgan County Farmers Market gathers every other Saturday, October through early December for Winter Farmers Market. Shop locally grown and locally crafted items ranging from eggs and meat to jewelry and soaps at Keller Hall, adjacent to the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Martinsville. Hours are 9 am to 12:30 pm.
Hammer in Session - Dec. 7
Come out to Old Town Waverly Park to enjoy watching traditional blacksmithing at the park's forge. All are welcome and questions are encouraged! See this traditional art form in action from 9 am to 4 pm.
Blizzard Blitz 5K & Fun Run - Dec. 7
This brand-new 5k and fun run will take place at Martinsville High School, beginning and ending on the track. Gates open at 9:30 am and the race starts at 10 am. Proceeds benefit the MHS Student Fund.
Breakfast with Santa - Dec. 7
Meet up with the big guy in red for breakfast at Hoosier Harvest Church on Saturday, Dec. 7 beginning at 9 am. Participants will receive a photo with Santa, plus a breakfast of scrambled eggs, pancakes and fruit! Cost is $7 for photo and breakfast; $5 for breakfast only or photo only.

Bethlehem Walk - Dec. 7
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church brings you their annual Bethlehem Walk event. An expanded nativity experience, the Bethlehem Walk includes a short introduction before you step back in time to Jerusalem where you'll meet merchants, Roman soldiers, and shepherds as you travel to the inn and stables. The kickoff to Martinsville's annual Cookie Stroll week, the Holiday Cookie Contest is open to bakers of all ages. Drop off cookies at The Main Connection beginning at 5:30 on Thursday, Dec. 12. Winners will be announced after judging and spectators are encouraged to taste test the entries!

The North Pole Experience - Dec. 14
Join 5 East in Mooresville for a fun and unique holiday experience. Each participating child will build a toy with Santa's elves, decorate a sugar cookie, enjoy a Christmas story from Mrs. Claus and get one-on-one time with Santa himself! Martinsville Cookie Stroll - Dec. 14
This annual holiday event combines downtown shopping, live entertainment and holiday cookies! Cookie Stroll Passport holders pick up a different cookie at each stop on the route. Along they way they'll find vendor booths, artisan markets, live music, carolers, Santa and even a friendly penguin who likes to pass out peppermints! Those without passports are still invited to come out and enjoy the day of fun, shopping and entertainment.
Morgan County Farmers Market Holiday Market - Dec. 14
The final Morgan County Farmers Market event of the year, Holiday Market brings together all your favorite local market vendors, plus a few more! Get some holiday shopping done with locally grown and crafted items such as jewelry, soaps and lotions, wooden toys and more. The event runs from 10 am to 4 pm and Santa will be at the Market from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Holiday Market is also a stop on the Martinsville Cookie Stroll.
Breakfast with Santa - Dec. 14
Join the Morgantown Lions Club for Breakfast with Santa! Each child will leave with a book, stuffed animal and ornament after enjoying pancakes, cookie decorating and face painting with Santa! This free event takes place at the Morgantown Community Center from 9 to 11 am on Saturday, Dec. 14.
Brickhouse Marketplace - Dec. 14
Join Brickhouse on Main during the Martinsville Cookie Stroll for the first ever Brickhouse Marketplace. This vendor market will run from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, Dec. 14 and will feature a variety of fun merchandise from artisans, crafters and direct sellers.
Santa in the Park - Dec. 14
Old Town Waverly Park will again host Santa in the Park on Saturday, Dec. 14. This fun event features a meet and greet with Santa in the historic bank building, live demonstrations of traditional arts such as blacksmithing, tin smithing, candle making and weaving. You'll also enjoy Christmas carols and refreshments. If the weather's nice, take the time to explore the White River Greenway Trail!
