Morgan County is conveniently located just minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport and downtown Indianapolis. For those flying in, rental cars are conveniently available from a number of vendors at the Indianapolis International Airport, which is consistently recognized as being one of the top airports in the nation. In fact, the Indianapolis International Airport was recently named the Best Airport in North America by Airports Council International (ACI) for the fifth time in the last six years and Best Airport in America by readers of Condé Nast Traveler.

For those arriving by automobile, you'll find Morgan County to be easily accessible from both Interstate 70 and the future Interstate 69, as well as a variety of Indiana state highways, making it easy to arrive by plane or automobile from just about any direction!

Long known as a popular road bicycling area, Morgan County is also located along a future spur of US Bike Route 35 that will be known as US Bike Route 235. The spur will travel south out of Indianapolis by way of Morgan County, reconnecting with the existing route east of Bloomington, making it easy to tour the area by bike as well! 

Additionally, the northern trail head of the Knobstone Trail is located in Martinsville, just north of Morgan-Monroe State Forest, for those who enjoy long distance hiking.
