Open Observation Hours
Jan. 5, Link Observatory
Your first opportunity of 2019 to visit the Link Observatory Space Science Institute! These open observation events take place on the first Saturday of each month and allow visitors to see the stars up close through the observatory's large telescope, weather permitting.

Stop by the Winter Farmers Market for locally produced meat, eggs, syrups, baked goods and a wide variety of handcrafted items. 

Live Music with Phil Pierle
Jan. 6, Cedar Creek Winery, Brewery & Distillery
Regional musician Phil Pierle performs at Cedar Creek - Indiana's only winery, brewery and distillery in a single location. Pierle is currently also the lead singer for popular regional band The Woomblies. Music begins at 2 pm.

No Cover Songwriters Showcase
Jan. 10, Zydeco's Cajun
Enjoy live music from local and regional singer-songwriters along with authentic Cajun cuisine at Zydeco's in Mooresville. This fun songwriter showcase takes place on the second Thursday of each month. Music starts at 5 pm.

2nd Friday Open Studios Night
Jan. 11, Art Sanctuary of Indiana
Stop in and talk with more than 20 resident artists in their studio space at the Art Sanctuary of Indiana in Martinsville. This monthly event typically also features an exhibit in the main gallery and open mic night in the downstairs gallery. Studios are open 6-9 pm.
