Small Business Saturday is coming up and it's one of our favorite shopping days of the year! The Saturday after Thanksgiving is designated as Shop Small Saturday - it's the day that shoppers show their support to small, locally owned businesses in their own communities or communities they choose to visit. We invite you to come see what's happening in Morgan County on Small Business Saturday and, as always, we encourage you to support small business owners throughout the county whenever you can.

Supporting a small, locally owned business means more of the money you spend stays in the local economy. It means you're helping to support the family who owns that business rather than a large, multi-million dollar company. Did you know that more than 50% of all U.S. retail sales happen at small businesses? Shop smart this holiday season by shopping small and supporting small businesses in whatever community you frequent.

While we encourage you to shop small anytime you're in the area, it's never easier than on Small Business Saturday! Here's a list of special events scheduled for the shopping holiday, but be sure to check out our shopping page for additional small businesses to support throughout the county. Happy (small) shopping!
