Get a jump on your holiday shopping, or pick up some handmade items or seasonal decor for yourself - you'll find it all at Morgan County area craft shows and bazaars. Churches, non-profits. and other groups host several fun craft shows throughout the fall and holiday season. Check our shopping listings for local boutiques, antique shops and more, and don't forget about the area's many fall festivals - a few are included here if they have large vendor areas, but almost all of them feature some vendor booths. (Watch for another post soon featuring Holiday Craft Shows in Nov. & Dec.!)

SEPTEMBER:
Morgan County Farmers Market - Tuesdays & Saturdays
The growing season is winding down, but the Morgan County Farmers Market will still offer weekly markets in both Martinsville (Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm) and Mooresville (Tuesdays from 3-6 pm) featuring a variety of locally handcrafted items including textiles, lotions and soaps, unique artworks and so much more! (Of course there will be all the fall produce staples as well, such as pumpkins, gourds and more.)
Colonel Vawter Day - Sept. 13
Morgantown's annual festival, Colonel Vawter Day, always includes vendor booths with locally handcrafted items! Stop by on Saturday, September 14 to check out what's available this year. While you're there, take in the rest of the festivities, including a 5K run/walk, car show, pet parade, chainsaw carving, a fun kids zone and more! Vendor booths open at 9 am.
Downtown Mooresville Street Fair - Sept. 20
One in a series of Mooresville Street Fair events, downtown Mooresville invites you to come enjoy shopping a wide variety of vendors and local shops on Saturday, September 20, from 10 am to 3 pm. There will be a variety of food trucks on hand as well as music in Bicentennial Park that afternoon. ill also be a car show, food trucks, a kids zone and live entertainment, so bring the whole family! Browse through 120+ vendors featuring local and regional artisans and crafters.
Old Town Waverly Park Festival - Sept. 27 & 28
This annual celebration at Old Town Waverly Park will take place on September 28 & 29. The event includes a wide variety of vendor booths, hands on activities, traditional arts demonstrations and live entertainment. Many crafters and artisans will be on hand both days of the festival.
Apple Festival & Craft Fair - Sept. 27 & 28
Anderson Orchard hosts 80+ craft vendors at this fun annual event the last weekend in September. This year's dates are September 28 & 29. Craft fair hours are 10 am to 6 pm each day and the orchard is open until 8 pm. This is a rain or shine event. Plan to pick your own apples or raspberries wilt you're there, or just shop the orchard store, and don't miss the concession stand!
OCTOBER:

The Fall Market will feature a variety of locally handcrafted items including textiles, lotions and soaps, unique artworks and so much more! (Of course there will be fresh baked goodies and all the fall produce staples as well, such as pumpkins, gourds and more.)
Fall Foliage Festival - Oct. 9-12
The annual Fall Foliage Festival in Martinsville is always filled with local and traveling vendors with a variety of items for sale throughout the weekend. Many are artisans with locally handcrafted goods, through some are also direct sales booths. Please note that the 2025 Fall Foliage Festival will be held at the Morgan County Fairgrounds this year due to an ongoing courthouse renovation project.
Corinth Baptist Church Annual Craft Fair - Oct. 25
The Craft Club at Corinth Baptist Church will host their annual Craft Fair at the Church on Plano Road on Saturday, October 25, from 9 am to 3 pm. They'll have a wide variety of locally crafted items including seasonal and holiday craft items. Stop by and browse. Lunch will be available on site from 11 am to 1 pm.
