Burkhart Creek Park

Burkhart Creek County Park is an 83-acre natural, low impact park adjoining the Ravinia Woods unit of Morgan-Monroe State Forest. The park includes shelter houses, parking areas and hiking trails. Burkhart Creek is accessible and there is a small play area near the paved trail. Bicycles are welcome on paved trail surfaces. Keep an eye out for wildlife, particularly birds. Raptor perches and owl nests have been installed to encourage birds of prey to next within the park. Bat houses within the park mean you should keep an eye open at dusk and dawn for these flying mammals! Please note, there are no restroom facilities at Burkhart Creek Park, so plan ahead!
