This year's Old Settlers Fair in Mooresville will take place from Thursday, July 31 through Sunday, August 3 and will mark the event's 153rd year. It's also the 100th anniversary of the Mooresville Lions Club, the local service organization that is instrumental in putting on this annual Mooresville festival. The carnival rides and games will open on Thursday, July 31 and will be open on Thursday and Friday from 5 pm and run until 10 pm. Saturday festival hours are 4 pm to 10 pm and Sunday's hours are 3 pm to 10 pm. Here are a few of the event's highlights for 2025.

Carnival Midway
Carnival rides and games for the Old Settlers Fair are provided by Poor Jack's Amusements, an Indiana based company providing rides, games of skill and more to events throughout the state and beyond. The midway will include both kiddie rides and major rides for the older set. Wristbands will be available for each night and are good for all rides, from opening until close. Ride tickets will also be available for those who only want to enjoy one or two rides.

Entertainment Schedule
There will be live music each day of the Old Settlers Fair, and all performances are free and open to all! In addition to live music, be sure to catch the Lions Club's Celebration of 100 Years in Mooresville, which will take place on Sunday at 5 pm. The local Lions Club has been active in Mooresville for a century, and they've managed the Old Settler's Fair event since just after WWII! Here's a look at the musical lineup on the festival stage:

Special Olympics "Pumper Pull"
On Sunday, the Mooresville Lions Club will partner with the Special Olympics for their Pumper Pull event! Various teams will attempt to pull the 41,000 pound pumper fire truck to help raise money for local athletes to compete. Special Olympics is always free for the athletes! Registration will take place on site that morning.

Veterans Parade
The 2025 Old Settlers Veterans Parade will take place on Sunday afternoon, August 3. Participants will stage at the Mooresville High School parking lot, before stepping off at 2 pm. The annual parade is organized by the Sons of the American Legion of Mooresville, Squadron 103.
