From Valentine's Day to live performances to unexpected surprises, you're sure to find something fun to do this February in Morgan County! Here are our top picks for fun things to do in the upcoming month, but be sure to check out our complete events calendar for more events, as this is not a comprehensive list. Fridays - Taps on the Square
Each and every Friday the buglers of Bugles Across American and Indiana Spirit of '45 invite you to join them as they honor American heroes with Taps on the Square. This weekly local tradition has become an iconic part of Downtown Martinsville and takes place on the southwest corner of the courthouse lawn. Meet up beginning at 6:45 pm; Taps is played at the seventh bell (7 pm). \

Feb. 1 - Wedding Venue & Vendor Open House
Harris Glen will host an open house at their beautiful venue in Mooresville with several vendors on hand on February 1, from 1 to 4 pm. Enjoy free food and drinks and take advantage of great wedding planning ideas and tips, meet vendors, and check out this gorgeous Morgan County venue. 

Feb. 1 - Class: Winter Book Bouquet
Join Fables & Fairy Tales in downtown Martinsville for a fun and creative class on Feb. 1, beginning at 1 pm. Participants will create a unique Book Bouquet. Cost is $30 per person. Please RSVP early (only 12 seats available).

Feb. 1 - Live Music: The 78s 
Cedar Creek Winery and Brew Co invites you to join them for live music from The 78s on Sunday, February 1. Music will begin at 2 pm inside the Taproom. This is a free performance and all ages are welcome. The Cedar Creek Eatery will be open on site as well. 

Feb. 6 - Live Music: Jack McDivitt
Join 1915 Steakhouse and Bar in Martinsville for live music on Friday, February 6 with performer Jack McDivitt. Music begins at 6 pm. 1915 Steakhouse is located at the corner of Morgan Street and Wayne Street.

Get ready to bake up some sweet Valentine's Day memories this year! Join Weezie's Cakes & Cookies at Cedar Creek Winery for a fun cookie decorating class! This class is perfect for a fun date night, an activity for friends, or cookie lovers in general. Spaces are limited so register early! Register online

Feb. 6 - Movie at The MET: Casablanca
"Here's lookin' at you, kid." Join the Martinsville Entertainment Theatre for a screening of a classic and timeless love story starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. Movie begins at 7:30 pm; doors open one hour before showtime. Tickets available in advance at martinsvilleshows.com

Feb. 7 - Bibbity Bobbity Boutique 
The Martinsville High School Choir Program invites all little princes and princesses to join them, and a few Disney character friends, on Saturday, Feb. 7 for the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique! This fun boutique experience will offer hair styling, makeup application or temporary tattoos, and nail treatments. The Boutique will be open from 10 am to Noon at the Martinsville High School Auditorium. No registration required.

Feb. 7 - Live Music: Ben Tatum & Kevin Rafferty
Join 1915 Steakhouse and Bar in Martinsville for live music on Saturday, February 7 with performers Ben Tatum beginning at 4 pm, and Kevin Rafferty beginning at 7:30 pm. 1915 Steakhouse is located at the corner of Morgan Street and Wayne Street. 

Feb. 7 - Live Music: Ethan Timm 
Cedar Creek Winery and Brew Co invites you to join them for live music from Ethan Timm on Saturday, February 7. Music will begin at 4 pm inside the Taproom. This is a free performance and all ages are welcome. The Cedar Creek Eatery will be open on site as well. 

Feb. 11 - Live Music: Joel & Jenna & Kevin Rafferty
Join 1915 Steakhouse and Bar in Martinsville for live music on Saturday, February 11 with performers Joel & Jenna and Kevin Rafferty beginning at 5 pm. 1915 Steakhouse is located at the corner of Morgan Street and Wayne Street. 

Feb. 11 - Studio PhD Class: Basic Tool Skills 
Jewelry artist Pam Hurst will host a Basic Tool Skills class as part of her Studio PhD series on February 11, beginning at 6 pm at the Sterling Butterfly. Participants will learn how to use basic hand tools in class along with general studio procedures and safety. No experience necessary. Class size is limited, so register in advance. This class is a pre-requisite for more advanced classes. 

Feb. 12 - Galentine's Day at Cedar Creek
Join Cedar Creek Winery for a special Galentine's Day event on February 12, beginning at 5:30 pm. They're partnering with some amazing local businesses, so get your gal pal group together and make plans to attend! Participants will enjoy a romantic book fair with Fables & Fairy Tales Bookshop, permanent Jewelry from Pam Hurst Designs, a Valentine's Day bouquet creation with The Seedlings Flower Truck, boutique shopping, specialty cocktails in the distillery, wine tastings and flights, and more! 

Feb. 12 - Open Mic Night & Pints
The Main Street Grill in Martinsville invites you to enjoy a monthly Open Mic Night on the third Saturday of each month. Come out from 8 to 11 pm to join in the fun. All musicians, songwriters and singers are welcome to sign up to perform, or just come and enjoy the local talent!

Feb. 13 - 2nd Friday Open Studios Night
Join the resident artists of the Art Sanctuary of Indiana as they host monthly Open Studios Nights on the second Friday of each month, from 6 to 9 pm. Artists will be on hand to answer questions about their work. Be sure to head down to the lower gallery as well to enjoy live music from local musicians!

Feb. 13-23 - Grease: The Musical
Enjoy an evening of theater at the Martinsville High School Auditorium with the fun classic musical Grease on February 13-23. Performances will take place at 7 pm on Friday and Saturday and at 3 pm on Sunday. Tickets available in advance at artesianfinearts.ludus.com or at the door. All ages welcome.

Feb. 13 - Movies at The MET: Willy Wonka at the Chocolate Factory
Step inside the Martinsville Entertainment Theatre for a theatrical screening of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971)—the endlessly charming musical fantasy that has delighted audiences for over five decades, starring Gene Wilder in his unforgettable role as Willy Wonka. Feb. 14 - Live Music: Jack McDivitt & Shaun Proctor

Feb. 14 - Hard Hats & High Heels Gala
Habitat for Humanity of Morgan County invites you to celebrate with them at Jones Crossing Event Center in Mooresville for the 2026 Hard Hats & High Heels Gala on Saturday, February 14. The event begins at 6 pm and features live music, live auctions, raffles, a cash bar, dinner, dancing and more! Cost is $85 per person or $140 per couple. Ages 21+ only. 

Feb. 14 - Music at The MET: Face Value: A Tribute to Phil Collins
RD Productions and the Martinsville Entertainment Theatre present Face Value, a Phil Collins/Genesis tribute band, on Saturday, February 14. Doors open at 6:30 pm and music begins at 7:30 pm. Feb. 17-21 - Taste of the Valley
Rediscover Martinsville invites you to enjoy specials from some of Martinsville's favorite local eateries and shops during this week of celebration. Each participating restaurant will create their own special for the week. Watch for a complete list of participating businesses on our calendar

Feb. 18 - Studio Ph.D Class: Charm School 
Charm School takes place at the Sterling Butterfly each month and will feature a different type of charm each session, If you attend at least four sessions, you will be able to make a charm holder pendant (this will be a separate session you can attend for free!). If you attend eight sessions, you can create a charm bracelet (also a separate session.) Participants in each charm school session will create a specific type of charm. This session has no prerequisites and no experience is necessary. All materials, necessary tools and instruction is included in the class fee. Class size is limited.

Feb. 20 - Live Music: Michael McCartney
Join Cedar Creek Winery and Brew Co on Friday, February 20 for live music from Michael McCartney. Indulge in your favorite locally-crafted beverages and don't forget about their amazing eatery menu as well! This is a free performance and all ages are welcome. Music starts at 6 pm.

Feb. 21 - Music at The MET: The Eagles Project
RD Productions and the Martinsville Entertainment Theatre present The Eagles Project, an Eagles tribute band, in concert featuring your favorite tunes from The Eagles on Saturday, February 21. Doors open at 6:30 pm and music begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 day of show. Only 300 seats available, so don't delay! Feb. 21 - Songwriter Showcase: Jamie Nichole, Chad Mills, & Chris Wolf
Black Dog Brewing Company will welcome a songwriter showcase to the brewery for an evening of live music on Saturday, February 21. Featured musicians will be Jamie Nichole, Chad Mills, and Chris Wolf. Stop by between 7 and 9 pm to enjoy great music, great food and great beer. The show takes place in the family seating area, just off the main entrance. 

Feb. 21 - Studio Ph.D Class: Jewelry Skills Intensive
Join jewelry artist Pam Hurst for this Basic Jewelry Skills Intensive workshop! Class will meet at the Sterling Butterfly on Morgan Street, on February 21 and 22 ,beginning at 9 am. Participants in this two-day intensive class will learn many of the basic skills of jewelry making. This will encompass all four of the classes that will be pre-requisites for future advanced classes. All materials, necessary tools and instruction is included in the class fee. No experience necessary. Class size is limited. 

Feb. 22 - FFF Designer Purse Bingo
The Fall Foliage Festival will host another fun Purse Bingo event at the Martinsville American Legion Post #230 on Sunday, February 22. Doors open at 1 pm, Bingo starts at 2 pm. Cost is $45 (cash only at the door). There will be amazing designer purses, desserts, a cash bar and more. Ticket includes 12 games and are available online.

Feb. 22 - Live Music: Phil Pierle 
Cedar Creek Winery and Brew Co invites you to join them for live music from Phil Pierle on Sunday, February 23. Music will begin at 2 pm inside the Taproom. This is a free performance and all ages are welcome. The Cedar Creek Eatery will be open on site as well. 

Feb. 25 - Studio Ph.D Class: Soldering Skills
Join jewelry artist Pam Hurst for a Soldering Skills class! This class is one of several prerequisites for more advanced courses. Class will meet at the Sterling Butterfly on Morgan Street, on Feb. 25, beginning at 6 pm. In this class you will learn about the torch and safety, best practices and different ways to solder and practice to get good at heat recognition. You will leave with a link bracelet  that you will make. 

Feb. 26 - Sip & Solve: Puzzle Night at The Creek
Join Cedar Creek Winery on February 26 for a special Sip & Solve Puzzle Night! This fun evening will challenge you with an interactive, multi-round puzzle experience you can enjoy as a team or solo! Each round reveals new clues and riddles that will require creativity and teamwork - all while enjoying your favorite Cedar Creek bites and beverages. Think, sip, and connect the clues, beginning at 6 pm.

Feb. 27 - Live Music: Elias Gomez
Enjoy live music with Elias Gomez at 1915 Steakhouse and Bar in Martinsville! Music begins at 7 pm on Friday, Feb. 27. 1915 Steakhouse is located at the corner of Morgan Street and Wayne Street. 

Feb. 28 - Live Music: Ellie Grayce & Ben Tatum
Enjoy live music with Ellie Grayce at 6 pm and Ben Tatum at 8 pm at 1915 Steakhouse and Bar in Martinsville! Music begins at 6 pm on Saturday, Feb. 28. 1915 Steakhouse is located at the corner of Morgan Street and Wayne Street. 

Feb. 28 - Music at The MET: Betsy & The Bears Quartet
The Martinsville Entertainment Theatre present the Betsy & The Bears Quartet! What happens when you combine a vocalist with a Masters in Musical Theatre  and a guitarist with a Doctorate in Music for Guitar Performance and Literature,  who both have a deep love of Jazz, Bossa Nova, and The Beatles? You get the base duo of Betsy and The Bears. Throw in Eliot Crispin on Bass and Solly on the Mandolin and you've got the whole quartet! Find them on stage at The MET on Saturday, February 28. Doors open at 6:30 pm and music begins at 7:30 pm.

Feb. 28 - Speaker: Bigfoot in The Heartland
The Main Branch of the Morgan County Public Library will welcome Aaron McAtee, who will share regional evidence and folklore, discuss analysis of potential Bigfoot audio recordings, and provide examples of native Indiana wildlife that might be misidentified as Bigfoot. Presentation begins at 2 pm on Saturday, February 28. 

Feb. 28 - Home Bank Christian Concert Series: Mickey Bell & Christian McCartney
Home Bank presents a brand new Christian Concert Series at Hoosier Harvest Church! This performance is Christian Comedian Night with Mickey Bell and Christian McCartney. VIP tickets include an in person Q&A with  Mickey Bell and Christian McCartney. All ages show!
