Rural Routes to Main Street Cultural Trail
Expands Holiday Shopping Opportunities

Just in time for holiday shopping, the two-county trail launches expansion into third county.

Martinsville, Ind. – Visit Morgan County and Visit Hendricks County are pleased to announce that holiday shopping opportunities for Rural Routes to Main Street Cultural Trail visitors have expanded this year with the addition of Putnam County stops to the Trail. Just in time for the holiday shopping season, the Rural Routes to Main Street Cultural Trail will now include more than 30 participating locations that are open each week, plus 10 more that are open on the second Saturday of each month.

As always, participating Cultural Trail stops will feature a variety of local and handmade merchandise, making a day on the trail the perfect way to pick up fun, unique gifts for the people you love. Many items are one-of-a-kind works of art you can’t find anywhere else.

The many stops along the trail are sure to include something for literally everyone on your list - from artwork and home décor to local wine and handmade candy. . . there’s even a honey-of-the-month club! Plus, spending a day or two on the trail itself is a great way to spend time with friends or family as you check off those names on your holiday shopping list. Don’t miss stopping in at one of several fun eateries on the trail to make the most of your experience (and fuel up for more shopping)!

Find out more about the Rural Routes to Main Street Cultural Trail and everything it has to offer on the website at www.ruralroutestomainstreet.com, where you can search locations by county or by category and find out about fun upcoming events, too. Be sure to download the new version of the guidebook or required a printed version.

Lodging is available in each of the three participating counties, in case you’d like to plan a full weekend of shopping fun!
