Pumpkins in the Park & Twilight Trail

  • October 28, 2018
  • Location: Jimmy Nash City Park
  • Venue: Jimmy Nash City Park
  • Address: N. Home Avenue, Martinsville, IN 46151
  • Time: 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Price: $4 per person

Enjoy a beautiful fall day in the park, complete with pumpkins, a hay ride, candy trail featuring fun characters and more! All ages are welcome to enjoy a ay ride up to the top of the Park, then children ages two and up, accompanied by an adult, will walk along the Storybook Trail toward Shelter #3. At the shelter, kids can make a spooky craft, have some warm cider by the fire and roast a marshmallow. Only $4 per child.

The Storybook Trail is from 2:00-6:00 pm and is for children ages 2-9 who will experience the wonder as they see the woods come to life with characters such as Peter Pan and Wendy or Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, and perhaps a sweet surprise or two!

For older kids who are a bit too old for the Candy Trail, but not quite old enough to visit the season's scary haunted houses, the Twilight Trail returns! Perfect for 9-12 year olds, this trail is spooky, but not terrifying. Available from 5:00-7:00 pm. Tweens will venture unaccompanied by parents through the woods along Nash Trail and meet back up with parents and siblings before descending the hill to Shelter #3.

Pumpkins will also be available for purchase and pumpkin carving tools will be provided.
