The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 230, based in Martinsville, will host the 2nd Annual Morgan County Veterans Creative Arts Festival on May 5 at the Art Sanctuary of Indiana. Stop by from 6:30 to 8:30 pm to see the varied works of art.
Morgan County VCAF is open to all Veterans (retired, active, reserve, guard, etc.).
The categories this year are:
1) Painting, Drawing
2) Photography, Mixed Media, Digital Art
3) Pottery, Sculptures, Ceramics
4) Jewelry, Beadwork, Knotting, Fiber arts
5) Metal work, Wood work, Leather work, Scroll saw, Glass work
Award for each category:
1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $50
3rd Place - $25
Best in Show
We will have one Military Family Youth category (painting/drawing) for ages 14-18 that have a grandparent, parent, or sibling that was or is serving in the military.
