Holiday Candy Cane Pours - every Saturday
Join the Martinsville Candy Kitchen for holiday season candy cane pours. Watch them transform sugar and flavoring into holiday magic in this traditional process. Candy canes are hand-pulled and packaged up for purchase. (There are usually free samples for those who come to watch!) Candy canes will be made every Saturday, and keep an eye on their Facebook page for additional pour times. Santa will be there on Dec. 19! (Masks are required and store capacity is limited.)

Festival of Lights - Nightly through New Year's Day
The holiday lights at Jimmy Nash City Park come on on Saturday, Nov. 28 and remain lit each night through New Year's Day! Swing by while you're in town for a drive through the lower loop of the park to enjoy the Festival of Lights, or park and walk around to enjoy the ambiance. There are photo ops as well - be sure to get a photo in Santa's sleigh! 

Cuppa's Christmas Challenge - Dec. 1-25
Martinsville coffee bar, Cuppa Jejo, is sponsoring a Christmas Challenge! Martinsville area residents are invited to register their home's Christmas decorations for a chance to win prizes! Spectators are invited to come view the lights, then vote on your favorite. Contest begins Dec. 1st and maps will be viewable online on that date at cuppajejo.com/christmaschallenge.

The 12 Days of Christmas - Dec. 1-12
Join Martinsville jeweler Pam Hurst on her Facebook page for Pam Hurst Designs. This virtual event will span the 12 Days of Christmas, highlighting different jewelry pieces, and some of the stories behind them, each day from December 1 to 12. Posts will be made daily on the Facebook event page and you can make no-contact purchases from home! Curbside pickup also available. 

Bud & Bloom Annual Christmas Sale - Dec. 3-5
Join Bud & Bloom Florist & Gifts in Mooresville for an expanded version of their Annual Christmas Sale. Normally a one-day event, this year you've got three days to get out and find those perfect holiday gifts. The expanded format will help cut down on crowds, making for a safer holiday shopping experience. 

Stuff Your Stocking Night - Dec. 4 
Head to Dirt Darlin' Boutique in Morgantown on Friday, December 4 for this fun Stuff Your Stocking promotion, beginning at 4 pm. Pick up a stocking on your way in and fill it full. You'll get 20% off of whatever fits inside at the register! 

Mooresville Christmas Light Tour - Dec. 5-24
Don't miss the second year of the Mooresville Christmas Light Tour in Mooresville! Between Dec. 6 and 23, come enjoy the lights on display at participating area homes and businesses, then vote for your favorites! Voting is by donation and all proceeds benefit the Mooresville Boys and Girls Club and Churches in Mission. Maps will be available online at mooresvillelights.com beginning Dec. 5.

Mistletoe & Mimosas on Main - Dec. 5
Reserve your table early for this elegant holiday event from 5 East in Mooresville on Saturday, Dec. 5. At Mistletoe & Mimosas on Main, each table of up to 8 will receive a scrumptious cake (or cupcakes) from Nosh Dessert Parlour, a charcuterie board from Ralph and Ava's Public House, one mimosa per person and unlimited coffee and cocoa with toppings, all served with elegant china and glassware for an upscale holiday experience you'll never forget.  

Handbound Journals Class w/ Lynne Medsker - Dec. 6
Flourish Gallery in downtown Martinsville presents a fun workshop with Martinsville area artist Lynne Medsker on Sunday, Dec. 6, beginning at 1 pm. Create your own handbound journal to give as a gift or use yourself! Flourish Gallery is a program of the Martinsville Arts Council, bringing the work of local artists to the community at large through exhibit and workshops.  

Girls' Night - Dec. 10
The Art Sanctuary of Indiana welcomes a fun Girls' Night event on Thursday, Dec. 10, beginning at 5 pm. There will be 30+ vendors on hand for holiday shopping, plus a variety of free services available to pamper you, including hair styling, makeup and more, plus games, giveaways, adult beverages and $5 massages!  

The Farmhouse Market Christmas Open House - Dec. 12
Join The Farmhouse Market in Mooresville for their annual Christmas Open House event on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 10 am to 4 pm. They've packed the store with everything you can think of for Christmas, including some great stocking stuffers! 

Rustic Wood Sign Painting Class - Dec. 14
Join Flourish Gallery in downtown Martinsville for another fun and creative event. The Wood Canvas will be on hand to help you create a rustic painted sign at this class on Monday, Dec. 14, beginning at 6 pm. Signs will be 12 x 12 and you get to choose from three options, several stain colors and several colors of paint to create your personal masterpiece. Flourish Gallery is a program of the Martinsville Arts Council. 

3rd Thursday Shop the Square: Guys Night Out - Dec. 17
Okay, guys, this Thursday Night Shop the Square event is for you! No one's saying that men are procrastinators when it comes to holiday shopping, but...  this event is specifically geared toward making it easier on the guys to get great gifts for everyone on their list in a single night of shopping, about a week out from Christmas Eve. The best part? Ladies, hit up these locally owned downtown shops and boutiques anytime before the 17th to create your "wish list" - when the guys come in, they can request your list to help them pick just the right gifts!
