Get a jump on your holiday shopping, or pick up some handmade items or seasonal decor for yourself - you'll find it all at Morgan County area craft shows and bazaars. Churches, non-profits and other groups host several fun craft shows throughout the fall and holiday season. (See Fall Craft Fair information on our previous post for events in September and October.) Check our shopping listings for local boutiques, antique shops and more. Find an event below that fits your schedule, or check back for additions as we'll continue to update this list throughout the season. St. Martin of Tours Annual Holiday Bazaar & Cookie Sale - Nov. 5
November 5 is the first Saturday in November and that means it's time for the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church Annual Holiday Bazaar and Cookie Sale! Pick up holiday decor, gift items and fresh-baked cookies by the dozen. Lunch provided on site as well. 

Artie Fest Holiday Craft Fair - Nov. 12
The 6th Annual Artie Fest Holiday Craft Fair will take place on November 12 from 10 am to 3 pm at the Morgan County Fairgrounds. Dozens of craft vendors will be on hand, including some of your favorites from July's Artie Fest event! Proceeds benefit the festival and their scholarship fund.  

First Baptist Church Annual Craft Fair - Nov. 12
On November 5, the Martinsville First Baptist Church on Columbus Street will host their annual Craft Fair. This event is a local tradition, featuring many local craft vendors offering handmade creations. Food will be available on site as well.  

Brooklyn Christian Church Bazaar  - Nov. 17
Join the Brooklyn Christian Church for their annual Church Bazaar on Thursday, November 17, beginning at 8 am. A variety of craft  booths will be open all day, as will their sweet shop! Lunch (chicken and noodles!) will be available on site from 11 am to 2 pm and a turkey dinner will be available from 4 to 6:30 pm. 

Morgan County Special Olympics Holiday Market - Nov. 19
Come support a great cause on November 19 at the Gasburg Baptist Church as the Morgan County Special Olympics host a Holiday Market! Get a jump on that holiday shopping. Doors open at 9 am. 

Small Business Saturday in Downtown Martinsville - Nov. 26
Join small businesses in downtown Martinsville and beyond for a fun passport shopping experience on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 26. Pick up your passport at any participating business and shop 'til you drop... or until you get your passport completed, then drop it off at your final shop to be entered to win fun prizes! This is the perfect way to get a jump on holiday shopping and make sure you're supporting locally-owned small businesses at the same time. 

Brickhouse Marketplace - Nov. 26
On Small Business Saturday, Brickhouse on Main will host a fun vendor marketplace featuring several home based small businesses in one location! Stop by between 9 am and 3 pm to shop small as you shop your way through downtown Martinsville. Vendors will be chosen so that there is only one showcased vendor per category. 

The Morgan County Farmers Market's Holiday Market takes place during the Martinsville Cookie Stroll and features locally made and locally grown items.


Christmas on the Farm Pop Up Holiday Market - Dec. 3
Walker's Homestead will host another fun vendor event on December 3 from 11 am to 3 pm. This fun event will feature will feature a wide variety of handmade and craft vendors, a "stuff your stocking at the farm store" opportunity, letters to Santa and Christmas mini photo sessions with popular local photographer Dirt Darlin' Photography. Come enjoy the holiday cheer on the farm as you get a jump on your holiday shopping. 

Victorian Christmas Celebration - Dec. 3
Mooresville's annual holiday event, Victorian Christmas, includes several holiday shopping opportunities at various locations during the event. The much-loved annual tradition takes place on Dec. 3 this year. You'll find a wide variety of craft and artisan vendors with handmade wares as well as direct sales and other options. Watch for more details on specific locations on the Victorian Christmas calendar listing.  

Holiday Market - Dec. 10
Held each year during the Martinsville Cookie Stroll, the Morgan County Farmers Market Holiday Market will be on December 10 this year at The Art Sanctuary. As always, this will be a cookie stop and a great holiday shopping opportunity as well! All Holiday Market vendors feature locally-made or locally-grown items.
